Project Background Overview:

The realization of the performance and functions of the secondary equipment of the smart substation depends on accurate clock synchronization technology. The secondary equipment represented by the merging unit is the data source of the interval layer sampling value, and its time-keeping system is crucial. Once such equipment has a time-keeping or time-keeping error, it will cause the relay protection device and the stabilization control device to treat the sampling values at different times as the values at the same time, which will inevitably affect the operation of the protection algorithm. In severe cases, it will cause protection misoperation, refusal to operate and other problems that affect the safety of the power grid. In order to ensure the time-keeping index, the temperature-resistant high-stable constant temperature crystal oscillator technology uses target heating technology to efficiently utilize heat, multi-point temperature sensing in the constant temperature tank, and the constant temperature crystal oscillator is used as the internal timekeeping clock source on the hardware. The timekeeping algorithm is designed on the software to compensate for the impact of temperature on the hardware, effectively solving the measurement error caused by the temperature gradient difference at different positions in the constant temperature tank, reducing the frequency offset caused by rapid temperature change, and effectively solving the practical application of the power smart grid merging unit and the main clock synchronization device.
